Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always to be blessed:
The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
– Alexander Pope
According to Wikipedia, “Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large.”
I like the Merriam-Websteer Dictionary’s version better, “to desire with expectation of fulfillment.”
The Law of Attraction teaches us to expect good things to come. We visualize it in our minds, and believe it in our hearts. When we pray, we pray with thanks, because we know it will come. The Bible also shares good news. It just takes faith, and hope.
And this is what I’d like to give you, my reader. A perpetual sense of hope, with expectations of good things to come. Never give up hope. Because something good is waiting just beyond the bend.
